- I was born in the last month of 1976. I didn't contribute much on that point although I was physically present at the occasion. I studied business economics in The Hague which was not really my thing. I finished and started working in IT to prove the point. Today I program ASP.Net sites and play with SQL databases. But this is only the boring bit, I luckily have several other lives. I am a part-time history student at the University of Leiden. When reading my blog you'll notice that I have a strong opinion on all kinds of stuff. No need to agree with me as long as you keep things civilized. I also tell stories and make pictures. I ran my own publishing company from 1998 to 2002 and loved the work as long as it lasted. There is very little money to be made in independent publishing. I am a writer-designer-photographer on the side and created tons of brochures, a couple of books and pictures. I like to travel and be surprised. I can't stand tickling and become very annoying when people make me curious just for the fun of it. In the end I am me and I like it. Oh I am *obsessed* by books and plan to end the world with a huge amount of rubber duckies and a stopwatch.
